Short description of the ‘Good Practice’: The company Pora na Pola (It’s time for the fields) was established in 2017 as a joint stock company on the basis of equity crowd-funding. Pora na Pola is an online natural food e-commerce marketplace that delivers fresh and carefully selected products from over 80 craft food manufacturers to e-customers all over Poland. In 2020, the company completed approximately 10,000 orders of over 165,000 products. The firm is focused on honestly run farms, small manufactories, proven product and the people who create it. It rebuilds the ties between local producers and end users, shortening the supply and distribution chain and stimulating the development and modernization of Polish farms. The coronavirus epidemic has made it difficult to run many businesses, but at the same time it was a great opportunity for e-commerce companies like Pora na Pola. The increased interest in the offer was also influenced by the changing consumers’ mindset related to eating habits and greater awareness when making decisions about food purchases. In 2020, the revenues of Pora na Pola exceeded PLN 2.5 million and increased by over 500% compared to the previous year. In 2023, Pora na Pola plans to debut on NewConnect (organised market; it is operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange). According to the management board’s estimates, by then its revenues are to grow by over 150% annually. In March 2021, the company signed a marketing cooperation agreement with one of the best rated Digital 360 companies in Poland with the aim to develop digital marketing competences which are currently the company’s priority. |

Stawia na uczciwie prowadzone gospodarstwa, małe manufaktury, sprawdzony produkt i tworzących go ludzi. |
